Gambia

Three members of our team travelled to The Gambia in West Africa to survey wetlands, interview villagers and visit conservation projects that we have previously supported. This trip and our work in West Africa is made possible, due to a significant private donation. During our trip to The Gambia, our team were surveying wetlands along the River Gambia. A wide range of sites were visited including seasonal costal wetlands, mangrove swamp, rice fields, quarries, riverine wetlands and an estuary.
