THE OTTER CONSERVATION, RESEARCH AND EDUCATION GRANT (OCREG) 

The Otter Trust welcomes proposals from small charities, organisations and individuals who aim to work with the species, within the geographic range specified below. Applications are welcome from the 1st January each year with successful applications to be notified by the end of February.

Marine Otter – Lontra feline (Chile and Southern Argentina) 

Neotropical Otter – Lontra longicaudis enudris – (Populations of Guyanas, Suriname and Trinidad.)

Southern River Otter – Lontra provocax (Southern Chile and Argentina)

Eurasian Otter – Lutra lutra (North Africa, Arabia + Middle East and Sri Lanka and South East India)

Hairy Nosed Otter – Lutra sumatrana (South East Asia, Sumatra, Boreno and Kalimantan)

​Asian Small Clawed Otter – Aonix cinereus nigiri (South East India)

Smooth Coated Otter – Lutrogale perspicillata (Southern Iraq and Wester Iran)
