The Phillip Wayre Award (PWA)

This award is offered once every three years. Applicants can be nominated or apply directly. The award is available to a researcher aged between 18 and 30 yrs. This grant is not restricted to people with an academic background. It is designed to inspire and lift people who have a clear conservation vision, a pioneering spirit and the determination and passion to make it happen. The award should be used push boundaries, drive forward real-world conservation efforts in a meaningful way. and have a measurable positive impact.  Otter trust staff are happy to discuss ideas and proposals with interested parties and, if necessary, support enterprises practically and academically.
