Earsham Wetland Centre (Old Harleston Road, Earsham, Norfolk) on July 30th as part of the Wild Waveney Festival.
The Otter Trust are delighted to announce the birth of a critically endangered Suffolk Punch filly foal on the 15th June at Dickleburgh, South Norfolk. ‘The mare and foal will be on show at our free Wild Waveney Festival at the Earsham Wetland Centre on the 30th July. Visitors will be able to meet the horses and hear about the Otter Trusts conservation work along the river valley. We will be asking the public to suggest names for the new foal’ |

Thankyou to everyone who came to see us on Saturday. We lost count of numbers, but at least 2400 people visited between 9.30-4.30. We would like to thank our neighbours at River Farm for providing additional parking and thank visitors who had to wait for a parking space! It was great to see neighbours, friends, supporters and our conservation colleagues from the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Natural England, Broads Authority, Thetford River Group, Environment Agency, Anglian Water, National Trust etc. Sadly our staff were all busy helping with the parking, so some of our activities were missed....however, we have arranged an additional parking place and are considering another music/food/wildlife/art event for later in the summer...more details to follow!
