OUR ADVISORY GROUPS
|
To help us actively manage our sites, projects, and conservation activities, we have assembled a group of specialists and experts that enable us to implement the objectives of our charity and provide invaluable advice and governance across our wide range of interests.

Taxonomic Advisory Groups
The aim of our Taxonomic Advisory Groups is to support the Trustees and help achieve the greater interests of our charity. Each Trustee has been assigned a Group and within these groups we have invited membership from partner organisations, regional experts and others, who support specific aspects of our work. We currently have two Taxon Advisory Groups that advise on our Bird, Invertebrate and Plant Projects and a Living Heritage Group, that oversees our domestic animals and cultivated plant collection.
Dickleburgh Moor Advisory BoardThe Trust has created two Advisory Boards, that are both associated with our Nature Reserve at Dickleburgh. The Dickleburgh Moor Advisory Board was created in 2021, with representation from neighbours, community groups and our volunteers. The objective of this group is to create a constructive dialogue between our user groups, staff, volunteers, and trustees. This group contains 12 members and meets formally, at least once per year.

Dickleburgh Moor Archaeology Advisory BoardThe Dickleburgh Moor Archaeology Advisory Board was created in 2023 and is independently chaired by Professor Simon Blockley, with representation from Norfolk County Council, Historic England, and associated academics. The aim of this group is to direct the archaeological investigations across the site and independently represent the interests of the Trust.
